Hopewell Valley Vineyards are long time supporters of the Pennington Farmers Market. Their winery is dedicated to the creation of handcrafted wines by blending Old World traditions with New World flair. The vineyards lie at the base of the Sourland Mountains and in close proximity of the Delaware Valley, with heavy soils of clay and shale agriculturally classified as clay loam. Besides vinifera varieties such as Pinot, Chardonnay and Barbera, they grow Vidal Blanc, Chamboircin and Traminette that are proven champions of the North Atlantic wine country.
