Get ready for our Peach Festival on August 18. There will be peachy products from our vendors, peachy crafts for kids (with help from Girl Scout Troop 70021), and a few peachy tunes from our bands. And what would a Festival be without a Bake Off?
BAKE-OFF :Think outside the cake box – there are so many ways to bake peaches. We’re looking for flavor, of course, but also interesting and creative desserts.
BAKE-OFF RULES AND GUIDELINES
Submissions must make use of peaches. All items must be baked goods.
No refrigeration is available. Items should be submitted on disposable materials. Submissions shall include the recipe. “Leftovers” from the judging will be shared with the Farmers Market vendors and will not be returned.
Submissions must be dropped off at the tent next to the band between 9am and 10:30am.
Judging will take place at 10:30am.
Items will be judged on taste, creative use of peaches, and appearance.
Contestants must allow the Pennington Farmers Market to use their name, photograph, and
photograph of their entries in subsequent publicity such as a story in the Hopewell Valley News or social media posting.
